Chinese Roasted Pork
There are three Chinese grocery stores in my neighbourhood and one of them sells Chinese roasted pork. If you are Vancouverites, you must have seen a big chunk of pork rib hung on the store window. When you order, they will chop it for you.
This is something I sometimes crave so bad. The skin is very crispy, the meat is fatty and tasty. It looks the same, but it tastes somewhat different from each store. Some are salty, others are mild. Today, I served this with boiled Chinese bok choy and greenonion ponzu sauce with sesame twist.
Make sure to have Chinese tea like oolong or pu-erh tea!
My favourite tea cup from Chinatown. It was only $1.50 or so.
