I have been exploring Chinese food in Vancouver and this is one of the dishes I like: Eggplant, chicken with basil leaves


When I saw this on the menu, I was not sure if basil leaves will go with Chinese seasonings, but it actually goes well with oyster sauce.


According to the article on Huffington Post, eggplant also goes with CHOCOLATE! Now I am very curious about this and might as well try it.

It has been busy week and cooking (and alcohol…lol) relieves my stress. Hmm… what should I cook tonight?
