Hakusai (Chinese cabbage) was on sale and I discovered a grocery store I have never visited sells shabu shabu pork for hot pot! Woot! Woot! Now I don’t have to make a trip to Fujiya/T&T to get sliced meat.
I got medium firm tofu and grilled with a pan. I wish I had some carrot and shiitake mushrooms!
This is called mizutaki and soup is only konbu dashi and dip with ponzu. You can see a product placement of mizkan’s Ajipon in the picture. hehe
I still have some firm tofu, so next up is sukiyaki!
